1. Cleaning

After each wear, use a soft brush or damp cloth to gently remove surface dirt and dust. Avoid harsh soaps or soaking — simple is best for preserving the leather’s natural texture.

2. Polishing

Every few weeks, apply a small amount of neutral or color-matched shoe cream using a soft cloth. Let it sit for a moment, then buff gently in circular motions to restore shine and depth. A subtle polish enhances the leather’s richness without overcoating.

3. Conditioning & Waterproofing

Moisture and dryness both age leather.

Apply a light leather conditioner to keep the material supple. For an added layer of protection, finish with a waterproofing spray suitable for leather. This helps shield against light rain and everyday moisture.

4. Wet Shoes

If your shoes get caught in the rain, don’t use direct heat — heat can damage or warp the leather. Instead, pat them dry with a soft cloth, remove insoles if possible, and stuff them with paper or shoe trees to maintain shape. Let them dry naturally in a cool, airy space.

5. Storage

Between wears, give your shoes room to breathe. Use shoe trees to retain their form and store them in their dust bags or original box away from humidity or sunlight.
